Community Grants

The Town Council has two grant programmes.

The objective of the Small Grants Programme is to support and encourage a diverse range of youth and community activities, initiatives and events that meet the needs of Stroud Parish residents.

We provide small grants to organisations of between £50 and £500.

We also offer Community Support Fund Grants of between £500 and £3000 to help groups and organisations that work to strengthen Stroud’s community.

Both grant programmes favour applications for support for activities that build the capacity of community groups to support themselves.

Decisions on grant awards are made by the Town Council's Finance, Community and Policy Committee, at three meetings each year.

Applications must be received no later than 3 weeks before the relevant meeting.
