New Councillor Fills Vacant Seat

Stroud Town Council has its full complement of members as Doug Janke joins the team. |
Doug was co-opted on to the council and will represent Farmhill Paganhill Ward along with councillors Haydn Sutton and Kevin Ellis.
A father of three, Doug works as a charity fundraiser for a human rights group.
"My priorities are to consult more with residents and support local shops and businesses," he said in his statement to councillors.
"I'm convinced that protecting resources locally as well as developing and promoting local jobs are important."
Cllr Janke lives in Churchfield Road, Stroud.
