Green Spaces Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled manager to work with a team of four staff looking after our parks, cemetery and other green spaces in the town for the benefit of residents and for wildlife.

The Town Council has declared a climate emergency and has committed to supporting nature recovery and becoming carbon neutral by 2030.

We are looking for someone with the skills and enthusiasm to maintain our sites to a high standard and the vision to develop and further the Council's aims.

Teamwork and co-operation between all members of staff is central to Stroud Town Council's ethos. Our staff and the work of the Green Spaces team have a high public profile. The manager needs to be able to act as an ambassador for the Council maintaining positive communication with the public, councillors and other Council staff.
