Play Equipment at The Leazes

Old play equipment at the Leazes

Families have the opportunity to have a say about play equipment in a Stroud play area.

Stroud Town Council is responsible for The Leazes play area and has set aside £30,000 to update the equipment.

It has set up an online survey so that people can choose what they think would be most enjoyed by children.

There are two different options which will include activity centres for early years and junior children.

"We are really keen to let children who play in the park choose which equipment they like best," said Helen Bojaniwska, Town Clerk.

"Normally we would go out and speak to people in the park, but COVID-19 restrictions make that difficult, so we would encourage parents to help their children have their say online or by giving us a call."

The survey closes on 9 April.
