New Councillor for Farmhill & Paganhill Ward

Cllr Rachel Smith

Music therapist Rachel Smith has been co-opted to Stroud Town Council.

Rachel, who grew up in Stroud, returned to Stroud in 2016 and lives with her husband and two children. She will represent Farmhill and Paganhill ward.

She is a qualified music therapist with extensive experience in adult social care. Rachel was previously elected to Gloucestershire County Council for one term.

2023 Parliamentary Boundaries Review

The Boundary Commission for England have published their initial proposals for new Parliamentary constituency boundaries and are seeking local knowledge to help reshape the map.

Parliamentary constituencies are changing to make the number of electors in each one more equal, and the number of constituencies in England will increase from 533 to 543.
