Stroud Town History Trail
Stroud Local History Society has produced a pocket-sized guide (24pp) that takes you round the town centre and describes the history of the buildings that you pass. It has been written to interest local people as well as visitors. The circular tour takes about two hours and, if you are local, you can do a bit at a time!
Copies are on sale at R&R Books, Shambles Indoor market, the Canal Visitor Centre, and the Town Council Office on London Road. Or you can get a copy posted by sending an enquiry to: email@example.com.
